Now that the schedule is more or less finalized, some quick tips for your trip to Ann Arbor.
The
closest airport is the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, DTW, which is
about a 40 minute ride from the University of Michigan campus.
You have a couple of options to get to campus from the airport:
1. Michigan Flyer
- By far the cheapest option, the Air Ride bus picks you up from the
Airport and drops you off at Central Campus for a $12 fee ( $22 round
trip). You can purchase tickets online or pay at the time of the trip.

Shuttle - There are various shuttle companies that will pick you up
from the airport and take you to your destination for about $30 each
way. Two popular companies are Ann Arbor Airport Shuttle and Custom Transit.
3.
Cab - cabs usually cost around $60 from the airport to downtown Ann
Arbor. If any participants are arriving at the same time, you might
consider taking cabs together. We suggest you utilize the comments
